A Symphony of Single Origin Chocolates

Be spoiled at Lobby Lounge's latest afternoon tea with patisseries and savoury items crafted by our Executive Pastry Chef Cedric De Lima a Sousa, using chocolate made from cacao beans of six specific origins including Madagascar, Venezuela and Vietnam. 

Cacao beans from different countries have their own distinctive flavours. Chef Cedric adopted chocolates using cacao beans from one country in order to focus on the terroir of that specific bean.

  • Madagascar: aromas of dried fruit upon melting, followed by honeyed and spicy notes
  • Venezuela: spicy and floral aromas with a hint of acidity in the finish
  • Papua New Guinea: fairly dense structure followed by combined flavours of cut grass, leather and soil
  • Dominican Republic: slightly astringent with high purity
  • Vietnam: a unique fruity taste 
  • Mekong: citrus-fruit-like aroma and few notes of dried fruits and honey

The afternoon tea also comes with a glass of hot chocolate featuring premium single origin chocolate to perfect the entire chocolate adventure.
