Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of all amounts due to the hotel from guests, concessionaires, tenants, and sundry accounts.
- Ensure accounts and statements are prepared and issued on a timely basis.
- Review City Ledger and Travel Agent account folios to ensure all charges are accurate and supported by proper documentation before billing.
- Allocate City Ledger folios, prepare COD folios for payment follow‑up, and update A/R recap accordingly.
- Prepare forecasts for credit card payments and submit reports to Accounts Payable.
- Perform manual postings for F&B checks, including Employee Ledger and Travel Agent Ledger.
- Prepare deposit records, Travel Agent Statements, and Employee Ledger Statements.
- Handle guest, agent, and company enquiries professionally, including providing invoice copies when requested.
- Assist with month‑end closing activities, including journal vouchers and expense breakdowns.
- Perform daily or bi‑weekly cash counts with the General Cashier for F&B cash receipts.
- Ensure proper filing of folios, credit card batches, reservation cards, and related documentation.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, preferably with LCCI certification.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience; experience in the hotel or catering industry is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail with good time management skills.
- Proficient in PC applications and Microsoft Office.
- Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English.
- A responsible, proactive team player with a service‑oriented mindset.
- Candidate with more experience will be considered as Assistant Accounting Supervisor.
